BASIC QUESTIONS

We focus on serving families and facilities across the state of Maryland with comprehensive, compassionate, and flexible senior care.

We accept both Maryland Medicaid and Long Term Care Insurance.

The ideal budget may vary depending on the unique level of care that the client needs. It could range from 4hrs minimum to 24/7.

OUR STAFF

At Platinum Senior Care we have over 60 active licensed caregivers. Our team ranges from RNs, to CNAs, and CMTs.

 All of our professional caregivers are background checked CNAs and GNAs.

All of our professional caregivers are insured with general liability, workers compensation, and professional liability.

Usually our hours per shift is at a minimum of 4 hours and a maximum of 12 hours.

POLICIES, PRACTICES AND PROTOCOLS

Yes our clients need 24/7 care so we strive to meet all needs and expectations. Our minimum hours are 4 hours per shift.

Yes, we are HIPPA Compliant and ensure that our clients’ information is safe and securely stored and shared with their approval.

Yes we follow COMAR regulations in order to provide and manage care that effectively addresses the issues of the client.

We monitor and plan the quality of care through a care plan that is designed by the RN who supervises the care by visiting the client and making recommendations to the caregivers based on these visits.

All medical emergencies begin with a swift and thorough assessment of the situation. After this assessment is complete, our nurses call paramedics and we work with them to address the issue. We then follow up with the family and keep them up to date on the situation.

We use an application called Wellsky for our matching process. Through this app, our staffing team accesses the qualifications of each applicant and matches them based on the needs and preferences of our clients. We also have one-on-one interviews with caregivers to ensure it’s a good fit.

If our client needs to cancel then we just require a 7 day notice. This is stated on our service agreement.

Yes, we are very flexible and ensure that our clients can adjust the care based on their needs. We work to ensure that the adjustment doesn’t affect the quality of care and the safety of the client.

COMMUNICATION

Our clients receive updates through our intuitive app which will be provided. We also reach out to family members via phone on a regular basis to keep them up to date.

If there is an incident then our caregiver immediately informs the office and fills an incident report from. An investigation is then conducted to assess the issue and implement prevention measures to prevent it from occurring again.

Our nurses are able to visit your nurses on site to review the discharge note and assess the situation outlined in the client’s report. Based on this report we can coordinate with your nurses to ensure that care is provided accordingly.

Yes, we can provide reports on our clients as needed to update the family, and everyone involved.

If there is a problem then our office is available 24/7 to address any issues. The office then directs the call to the appropriate staff member or department to address the issue.
